Ceillhe Sperath
Ceillhe Tewhare Teneti Hema Sperath is a New Zealander of Maori descent from the Ngapuhi tribe in Northland with the added bonus of an Irish influence on her paternal side. Ceillhe is a direct descendant of Patuone ("The Peacemaker") and Tamati Waka Nene, two of the main signatories on the Treaty of Waitangi - New Zealand's founding document in 1840.
She is or was also a member of several other national boards in New Zealand, including the New Zealand Organisation for Quality, of which she is a past and youngest-ever president. Ceillhe is passionate about her indigenous Maori culture and wishes to share her real Maori culture with our guests in an authentic way via our Maori Culture Experiences and Auckland Maori Tours.
